CAMP RULES/ POLICY
BBQ AREA: Camp BBQ’s are available for campers use. Children must be supervised at all times in the BBQ Area. BBQ’s must be cleaned after use.
BICYCLES: No bikes to be ridden in the campground after dark.
BOAT PARKING: All boats are to be parked on your site or for motels and cabins in the designated ‘Boat Parking’ area.
CARAVANS: Caravans must have a current C.O.F [certiﬁcate of Fitness] Empty chemical toilets in the dumps station.
CHECK IN & OUT TIME: Check in time 12.00 noon, Check out 10.00am. Extensions may be given if your site/accommodation has no one booked in directly behind you.
Please ask at the ofﬁce if a late check-out is required. A late check-out fee may be charged.
CHILDREN: Children to be supervised by parents at all times while using facilities, kitchen and especially showers — 3 minute showers only please.
CONDUCT: Consideration must be shown at all times to other guests.
Reasonable behaviour and dress expected at all times. Excess drinking and parties forbidden.
DUMP STATION: Opposite the boat wash. Please ensure lid is closed after use.
ELECTRICAL CABLES: All electrical leads/cables must have a current C.O.F [certiﬁcate of Fitness].
LAUNDRY: Washing machines cost $3.00 per load [1 x 2.00 coin and 1 x 1.00 coin must NZ currency].
Dryer cost $4.00 per load — purchase a special dryer token from the shop/office,
[The dryers do not operate with normal currency coins].
Clotheslines are available for campers use.

PEAK SEASON 20th DEC TO 31st JAN: ALL CAMPERS NO EXCEPTIONS MUST REPORT TO OFFICE BEFORE GOING TO SITE.
BALANCE OF PAVMENT MUST BE MADE IN FULL ON ARRIVAL (If guest campers are to stay on your site you must report to the ofﬁce and pay in full for their stay on their arrival)
PETS: A ‘no pet’ policy applies through the Summer during the period from: 1stDecember to the 28th February.
PRIVACY ACT: Unless you instruct us in writing to the contrary we will conﬁrm to any persons who enquiries that you are a guest and if asked we will direct them to your site/cabin or unit.
QUIET TIME: Quiet Time – between 10.00pm on 7.00am. MUST BE ADHERED T0.
REFUNDS: No refund for inclement weather. Non-cancellation or failure to show constitutes forfeiture.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the weather, therefore once checked in, you are responsible for the entire length of stay you reserved. Refunds will not be made for early departures for any reason.
CANCELLATIONS: Peak Season — 20th December to 31st January. Cancellations must be received 4 calendar weeks before your arrival date for a full refund less a $12.00 administrative fee. Cancellations lst February to 19m December must be received a minimum 7 days before your arrival date for a full refund less a $12.00 administrative fee.
RUBBISH: If you are disposing of rubbish please purchase a Whangarei City Council Rubbish Bag $3.70 or an ofﬁcial sticker at $3.70. Please separate all bottles and plastics into the correct recyclable containers provided. There is a food scrap bin beside the kitchen for all food scraps.
ALL Fish scraps – MUST be taken out no sea do not use the rubbish containers under any circumstances.
SITE REQUIREMENTS: There must be a 1 metre clearance from the boundary line. No tents/caravans. cars, or large objects are to be closer than 1 metre from the boundary line. This is a safety requirement.
Please be a safe camper and illuminate your guy ropes.
SPEED: Speed in camp grounds to be WALKING PACE ONLY.5km
SECURITY: Security cameras are operating 24hrs 7 days a week
SHOWERS: 3 Minute showers only, Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
VISITORS: All visitors must report to the ofﬁce. A minimum cost of $5.00 per visitor applies to cover costs for all amenities. Cars are to be left outside of camp ground. All visitors must depart by 8.00pm.

|Payment accepted by lnternet banking, Cash, Eftpos, Visa and Master Card. (There is a 3% surcharge for credit card payment). All fees are due upon arrival.|
NO PET’ policy applies through the Summer season during the period from ‘1st December until the 28th February”. All dogs / Pets must be on a leash at all times while on the camp grounds. You must ALWAYS clean up after your animal. Pets MAY NOT sleep in Motel units or Cabins, you must provide your own kennel to put on deck etc. If your dog is a ‘Barker’ and it continually annoys other campers you will be asked to remove it from the camp, our campers are our first priority.
