Facilities available to our Campers<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Water Supply<\/strong><\/span>. The camp has a good safe fresh drinking water supply, do Not drink the water from the Boat wash or the Dump Station, all other taps are safe. Male and female bathrooms, have hot showers (not metered) and flushing toilets. You may fill your tanks from your site taps.<\/p>\n Laundry room<\/strong><\/span> – 3x washing machines, 3x clothes dryers that cost $4.00 per load, (2 x $2.00 coins or a $4.00 token), outdoor clothesline available.<\/p>\n Camp kitchen<\/span>\u00a0contains Fridges & Freezers, Convection Ovens, Double Hotplates, Microwaves, Toasters, and\u00a0 Electric Kettles for all guests to use.<\/span><\/p>\n Camp Office \/ Store<\/strong><\/span>, stocks basic items like: Ice creams, cold drinks & snacks, both Party or Salt Ice, Bait, Tin\/packet foods, milk, bread,\u00a0 hardware bits, personal, medical and cleaning items, Reading and Sun glasses, and Whangaruru Beachfront Camp Caps and Bucket Hats. If we don\u2019t have it, the Oakura Bay Store<\/strong>, \u201cover the hill and around the corner\u201d – is well stocked with almost everything. This Store also has a Petrol and Diesel Pump and hires\/fills Dive Tanks.<\/p>\n Haz Beanz Coffee shop<\/strong><\/span> for great barista coffee, and frappes (seasonal), – right here in camp! And yes we do stock alternative milks.<\/p>\n Tony’s Diner <\/strong><\/span>(food Cart) open in the summer time, Peak Season and Long Weekends.\u00a0 Sells excellent Gourmet burgers, fries, Nacho’s and much more. Prices will vary based on size and duration of hire.<\/p>\n Boat Wash<\/strong><\/span>. Although the Boat Wash<\/strong> says “Wash” it is just for rinsing off boats & trailers the salt water, due to here running on tank water. This is not a car wash sorry.<\/p>\n Rubbish and Recycling Station<\/span>.<\/strong>\u00a0All Rubbish and Recycling is to be sorted in to the bins provided. Rubbish for all campers must be in an official Whangarei Council bag<\/strong> or have an official sticker<\/strong> on it, you can purchase these from the office.<\/p>\n Filleting Station<\/strong><\/span> is here to use -all fish scraps, or seafood shells, must go back out to the ocean, not put in the rubbish bins\/bags, not thrown in to the creek, and definitely not dumped on the beach.<\/p>\n Barbecue Area<\/span>.<\/strong>\u00a0A covered barbecue area with tables, plus picnic tables is available, first in, first served. Gas bottles available for hire from the Office. There are Barbecue Tables available for campers use scattered all over the camp, if not already in use, you are free to take one to your site.<\/p>\n Dump Station<\/strong><\/span> system caters for black (toilet) and grey (dishes or shower) water, but not wipes, hand towels, sanitary items or nappies. This is for our Campers use only. If you are not staying here, there is a charge for using our Dump Station. Also a charge for filling your water if not staying here.<\/p>\n Parking<\/strong><\/span>. Accommodation has parking for one vehicle. All camp sites must fit everything you bring within your space. Be mindful, there is very limited extra parking spaces for any excess vehicles, and this is a first in first served basis. If you park where you shouldn’t, consequences will occur.<\/p>\n Playgrounds<\/span>. <\/strong>We have two playgrounds for the children, a toddler (under 5 years) and one for the bigger children. Hours from 9am until 8pm each day.
